3. 30-minute project so far...

Here I will present to you what I've done in my 30 minute project so far.

Most of these are doodles or quick models related to my future projects in one way or the other.

A more polygon-reduced syringe.

Approximation of a human skull and it's general shape, done in 30 minutes. Will be reworked and used both for skulls in the scenery and as a basis for the cranial head of the warmachine.

Some sketches, mostly on the Tech-Floater.

Here one see clearly in what direction the design of the surgeon tech droid is going. Some loose sketches also reveals the concept of the Warmachine.

Some more sketches, mostly doodling around with the head-design, and the floating-device.
Here can be hinted some about the contents of the jar he picks up at the beginning of the story, and also some idea as to how to design that head of his to be slightly disturbing.

That's about it for now. With the rush of inspiration and some more things coming up - come back for more.

2. Maya-mind reboot

It's been a while since I restarted this blog. I don't remember how many times it's been now - but this time I hope it will get a bit more regular. Life has changed a lot since I started out with this idea - and somehow there's an urgency in establishing 3D as a part of my lifestyle - as well as other things.

I have been thinking out this little strategy to come to terms with the fate of my main interests, music 3D and drawing. I call it the 30minutes-a-day project, meaning that I spend a minimum 30 minutes a day on each of these arts - since it seems I won't get my ass to develop my skills. Partly this multitude is because I can not have only one interest, life would be dull. I never counted on mastering any of them to the degree of professionalism. This is still a matter of making believe, a feeling of accomplishments. To make something out of my lifetime.

Spending 30 minutes a day in Maya, Genetica or similar artistry programs is a far better occupation than to spend my days/nights on the bed dreaming of all things I want to do. Dreams are in no way sufficient.

1. Introduction

Hello

My name is Fredrik, and I'm 32 years old. I have a lot of interests, mostly drawing my comic, playing guitar and making stuff in 3D. This blog is about the 3D part.

There has been many incarnations of this blog over the years but none really stayed, so now I have this idea to just do small simple stuff, small simple projects and attempt to make them short in time-span - thus giving myself time to organize and document the results - posting it to this blog.

This *IS NOT* your average blog where I post stuff about what I ate today, drank yesterday or some other rantings or similar. No, this blog is about one of my favourite hobbies and my ways and attempts to reach further up the skill-scale.
